Greene Co. Prosecutor: woman failed to protect toddler from abuse

March 20, 2012 By admin

A Springfield woman is charged with failing to protect her 3-year-old son from abuse. The Greene County prosecutor says Mauriah McBrayer knew her boyfriend had been violent with the child but left him in the man’s care anyway. The boyfriend, John Albert, is charged with hurting the boy so badly that part of his colon had to be removed.
