Macon trio pleads guilty to string of bank robberies

March 9, 2012 By Jessica Machetta

Three people from Macon have pleaded guilty to a string of bank robberies in Missouri and in Texas last year.

The federal prosecutor says Jeffrey Brent Heckman was the one who went inside to rob the bank in Hamilson, Brookfield, Blythesdale, and Columbia. The other two, Jacob Thomas Norris and Alexia Quentasha Baker, pleaded guilty to being Heckman’s getaway driver and his lookout.

All three also admit they robbed a credit union in Temple, Texas.

They were caught in Mexico and deported to the United States to face charges.
