Coach gets 13 years for sex crimes

March 6, 2012 By Mary Furness

A former girls basketball coach at St. Louis Parkway Central High School has been sentenced to almost 13 years in prison for taking a 15-year-old girl to his parents’ house in Illinois, intending to have sex with her. Twenty-nine-year-old Brent Woody still faces 15 state charges of statutory rape and sodomy. He’s accused of having sex with two underage girls in 2009 and 2010.
