The Iowa State Cyclones went 5:50 without a field goal down the stretch and the Missouri Tigers took advantage of the scoring drought to grab the lead and never look back as the Tigers pick up a 78-72 win on Senior Night at Mizzou Arena.

Michael Dixon led five Tigers in double figures with 21 points as the team shot 54.7% for the game, but struggled to grab control until the final minutes. Iowa State was led by Royce White who scored 20 points, but was shutout in the final 11+ minutes.

Dixon provided the spark. Dixon’s driving layup with 3:36 left gave Mizzou a 66-64 lead. Marcus Denmon followed with a three and Phil Pressey had a steal and layup with 1:23 remaining to cap a 7-0 run for the Tigers. Head Coach Frank Haith said Dixon took it upon himself to have a better game after feeling he let the team down late at Kansas.
