Kansas City is getting a gift from Bank of America, 75 houses that have been foreclosed upon and $875,000 that can be used to demolish them or make them livable again. 25 of the houses are considered salvageable. The rest are beyond saving and will be torn down. The gift is part of a new program the city has launched to improve the inner city. Bank of America has made similar deals in Cleveland, Detroit, and Chicago
