The Missouri Women’s Basketball team dropped an overtime contest at Iowa State 66-59. Three Tigers scored in the double figures as Mizzou held the Cyclones to just 29.3 percent from the field. Three Tigers also fouled out. In a game where Mizzou was whistled for fouls 30 times compared to just 14 for Iowa State, head coach Robin Pingeton could be overheard on the radio broadcast saying she’s never had three players foul out in a game.

Mizzou led 41-33 with just over 14 minutes remaining, but ISU went on a 6-0 run and got some favorable calls as Chelsea Poppens completed a three-point play with 1:08 remaining, tying the game at 54-54. ISU eventually built a 57-54 lead but Sydney Crafton banked a three pointer with four seconds remaining to force OT.

In overtime, ISU’s defense locked down the Tigers and held them scoreless until a last-second layup by Crafton
