The Hawks tied the game earlier in the third on a goal by Duncan Keith, that ended Brian Elliott’s bid for a seventh shutout. The Blues led 1-0 after getting a late first period goal from Andy McDonald. McDonald skated into the crease and swatted a loose puck past Chicago’s Corey Crawford. It was McDonald’s third goal in three straight games. McDonald just returned after missing 51 games from a concussion. This was his fifth game back since an injury on October 13th against Dallas.
