Kim English scored 21 points and added six rebounds as the Missouri Tigers improve to 25-2 on the year with a 71-62 win at Texas A & M, Saturday afternoon.

English hit a three-pointer with 13:21 to play in the first half to the put the Tigers up 9-7 and they would never trail the rest of the game. Missouri built a seven point lead at the break when English split a pair of free throws, but A & M made a couple of charges in the second half.

The Aggies opened the half on an 8-3 run to close to 34-32. Frank Haith took a timeout and Mizzou quickly extended the lead to eight on two buckets from English and two, three-pointers from Marcus Denmon who finished with 14.

A & M had a chance after cutting the lead to 65-60 and getting the ball off a Phil Pressey turnover, but Steve Moore drew a charge giving the Tigers the ball back with just over a minute to play. Denmon buried a three from the left corner getting the lead back to eight and ending any chance of an A & M rally.

Phil Pressey added 13 points as Mizzou shot 56% for the game and outrebounded A & M 22-15.
