Kansas City-area police agencies have isued 80 tickets and 28 warnings to people parked in handicap- accessible parking spaces who shouldn’t be there.
The sweep involved officers checking shopping areas for people illegally parked.
State law says those who violate disabled parking laws can be fined as much as 300-dollars.
