The chairman of Springfield’s Human Rights Commission says the commission will talk about discrimination against convicted felons when it meets next week. Chairman George Davis tells the Springfield News-Leader that if employers refuse to hire a felon, they need a valid reason. He says several people have raised the issue with the commission and one person has filed a complaint.
