The NHL All-Star game was in Ottawa, Canada on Sunday and the game is never set up to be a defensive battle so the goalies are often left to fend for themselves and it certainly wasn’t a memorable game for Blues netminder Brian Elliott. He gave up six of his teams 12 goals allowed, as his Team Alfredsson lost to Team Chara 12-9. Elliot stopped just 13 of 19 shots in 20 minutes of play for a .684 save percentage, the lowest of all six goalies that played.

The best part of the NHL All Star weekend, was Brian Elliot’s helmet cam during the shootout competition on Saturday. It gives you a great perspective of what the goalie sees.
