The #2 Missouri Tigers shot just 40% from the game and made just 4 of 19 on three pointers, while Oklahoma State was led by LeBryan Nash and Brian Williams, as the freshmen combined for 49 points, in the Cowboys 79-72 win over the Tigers.

Ricardo Ratliffe led the Tigers with 25 points on 10 of 17 shooting, but the rest of the team struggled, forcing up bad shots and not showing patience down the stretch of a tight ball game. For example, Marcus Denmon was just 4 of 16 including 2 of 8 from three point range.

As off as the Tigers were, they looked to grab control of the game, going up 61-53 with 6:31 to play in the game. Ratliffe hit a pair of free throws after Denmon hit a pair off a technical foul that was called on OSU’s Markel Brown, who was ejected after picking up his second T for taunting after a nice dunk off an alley-oop.

From that point on, Mizzou went 3 for 9 on shooting as the Cowboys’ Nash and Williams made 22 of the teams final 26 points including three, three-pointers from Nash. OSU shot 59.6% for the game.

The Tigers are back in action Saturday at Mizzou Arena against Texas Tech.
