Firefighters sue over school enrollment troubles

Five St. Louis firefighters are suing the St. Louis School District and four districts in St. Louis County. They say the districts are not following a state law that says children in unaccredited districts can transfer to accredited schools at the expense of the unaccredited district. The St. Louis school district is not accredited.
The lawsuit says the firefighters have tried to enrollt heir children In Lindbergh, Kirkwood, and Webster Groves districts. But those districts have rejected their applications.
