Future SEC opponents claimed the top spots in this week’s Coaches poll as the Missouri Tigers climbed to number two in the polls following their 89-88 win over previously #3 Baylor on Saturday. Kentucky claims the top spot with their 19-1 record.

With the Tigers at 18-1, they jumped three places and find themselves ahead of Ohio State, Syracuse and Kansas. The Tigers didn’t receive any first place in the coaches poll, but did pick up two in the AP poll.  Previous #1 Syracuse fell to #4 and Kansas at 16-3, couldn’t push their way up the rankings.

Baylor dropped to 7th in the coaches poll and 6th in the AP after a blowout loss at KU and the home loss to Mizzou.
