Two people are recovering from wounds suffered in a shootout at a big shopping mall in Independence. Police say two young men are considered persons of interest in the incident that led to a lockdown of the Independence Mall. Police say the incident appears to have been caused by a confrontation between the two men and a couple while going through a doorway in the mall.
