Missouri used a 28-2 run in the first half to turn a 15-11 deficit into a 39-17 lead as the fifth ranked Tigers improved to 4-1 in Big 12 play with a 70-51 victory over Texas A & M.

The Tigers biggest lead was 23 near the end of the half, but the Aggies got it down to 49-39 with 10 minutes to play. Ricardo Ratliffe’s bucket off a nice feed from Phil Pressey brought the crowd to their feet with Mizzou going up 12 at 51-39.

Over the next five minutes the lead increased to 17, holding off any push A & M might have had.

The win by Mizzou ends a streak of eight games that the Aggies have won over the Tigers.

Michael Dixon, who sparked the Tigers big run, finished with 18. Ricardo Ratliffe added 17 and Marcus Denmon 16.
