The St. Louis Blues had a four-game winning streak snapped losing to Vancouver 3-2 on Thursday night. The Blues look to bounce back as they seek their first win in three games this season against the slumping Minnesota Wild on Saturday night at the Scottrade Center.
In Thursday night’s loss, the Blues held a 33-21 advantage in shots and went up 2-1 on Jason Arnott’s second goal of the game early in the second period, but couldn’t hold on. The Blues lost for just the second time in 11 home games, though they’ve earned at least a point in each of those contests. St. Louis, which was coming off back-to-back shutouts, had its scoreless streak snapped at 148 minutes, 54 seconds. The Blues dropped one point behind Chicago for the Central Division lead.
Fans traveling to Saturday’s game vs. Minnesota will want to note that all lanes of Eastbound I-64 will be closed from Jefferson to the Poplar Street Bridge. The closures continue through 3 a.m. on Monday. Fans traveling that route WILL be able to exit at 14th Street from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday only, but traffic will be slow. We recommend that fans make alternate travel arrangements and allow additional time for your commute.
In addition, due to construction near the East Riverfront MetroLink Station, several Metrolink stations throughout downtown will be closed. Guests traveling to these destinations will be transported by bus shuttles.
