Woman says God told her to confess to 1994 murder

January 9, 2012 By Jessica Machetta

A woman serving a life prison term in Missouri says God has told her to confessed to a 1994 Oklahoma murder. Inmate Odessa Brown is in prison for life for a Missouri murder. She has pleaded guilty to strangling an 83-year-old woman in Muskogee, Okla., and has been sentenced to life without parole. She’ll serve that sentence concurrently with her Missouri sentence.

She’s in prison in Chillicothe for murdering a 66-year-old Kansas City man two years after the Oklahoma killing.
