A northwest Missouri judge has ruled that a person cannot be paid for veterinary services unless they are a licensed veterinarian. The state veterinary board had sued a woman from Holt, in Clinton Co., accusing her of practicing veterinary medicine without a license.
The woman, Brooke Gray, says she will appeal the ruling. An organization backing her lawsuit says the ruling will hurt animal husbandry.
