Taxpayers in St. Charles County have been given more time to pay their property taxes because the county goofed on mailing out the tax bills.
The county council says taxpayers have until the 23rd to pay taxes without penalty that otherwise were due Dec. 31. Some taxpayers had criticized the county for mailing out tax bills three weeks late
