A Marshfield fireman battling a brush fire has suffered serious head injuries when a tree branch fell on him. Firefighter Ed Holand is hospitalized in Springfield. The chief of the Marshfield fire department says the branch was six to eight inches thick and fell 15 to 20 feet.
