A pile of charges have been filed against a man charged with two holdup attempts in St. Louis County on New Year’s Eve. The prosecutor says Gabriel Williams demanded money from a man doing yard work and forced him to go to a grocery store to get it while an accomplice held the man’s wife hostage in their home.

The man tipped off security officers at the grocery store who contacted police … who caught Williams after he reportedly tried to pull a street robbery. He faces various charges. His accomplice is in juvenile custody.
