Succop named AFC special teams player of the week

Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. Its the second time Succop has won this year.

Succop was 4-4 on field goal attempts with a PAT, in the 19-14 victory over Green Bay Packers. Succop has hit 21 straight field goal attempts, tying him with K Nick Lowery for the second-longest streak in club history. Succop is one field goal shy of tying K Pete Stoyanovich’s all-time team record of 22 straight makes. He currently holds the NFL’s longest active streak for consecutive field goals made.
