The Missouri Tigers have landed Jabari Brown, a highly touted recruit by Oregon. ESPN.com reports that Brown’s mother said it was a good fit at Mizzou and with coach Frank Haith. Brown is a shooting guard who played in just two games at Oregon. He won’t be eligible until next December.

Brown was a five-star prospect and was in the top 20 for players in the Class of 2011 according to Rivals. He signed with Oregon and played this summer with the Ducks and started the first two games, but decided to leave the program.

He visited Mizzou two weeks ago and Georgia Tech this past weekend before making his decision. San Diego State, San Jose State and Kansas were also rumored to be in the mix.
