Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel is almost certain that Kyle Orton will be the sacrifical lamb, er, I mean starting quarterback this Sunday when the Chiefs face undefeated Green Bay at Arrowhead Stadium. “I would say he will probably start for us,” Crennel said. “Kyle was able to do more than I expected yesterday, and we gave him more today as a result of it. He seemed to have weathered the storm pretty good. We feel good right now about where he is.”
Orton will wear a glove on his hand to protect his right index finger which he hurt in his only pass attempt at Chicago two weeks ago. Each of the three quarterbacks spoke to the local media after Thursday’s practice.
