The 10th ranked Missouri Tigers improved to 9-0 with an 84-59 win over Navy, Saturday afternoon at Mizzou Arena. Four Tigers finished in double figures as the Tigers shot right around 50% for the game. Marcus Denmon led the Tigers with 20 points, Ricardo Ratliffe added 14. It was his own personal scoring streak that broke the game open.

With the score 23-17 in favor of Mizzou with 7:45 to play in the first half, Ratliffe scored eight straight points and Phil Pressey drained a three as the Tigers went on an 11-1 run in a 3:03 span to go up 34-18. The Tigers extended that lead to 45-26 at the break.

Marcus Denmon led with 12, Kim English and Pressey each had nine. Mizzou outrebounded Navy 25-15 in the opening 20 minutes while shooting 48% from the field, including 5 of 11 on three pointers.

The lead got as high as 34 when the Tigers doubled up the Midshipmen at 68-34 with 9:47 left in the game. Kim English led a breakout with an underhand pass to Michael Dixon who dished to Phil Pressey who slammed home two of his 11 points.

Getting in the game for the final minute was Mizzou tight end Andrew Jones who just joined the team last week. The Tigers look to go to 10-0 when they host Kennesaw State on Thursday night.
