Mizzou completes first bowl practice

December 9, 2011 By Bill Pollock

The Missouri Tigers had their first of six Independence Bowl practices that they will hold inside their training facility before leaving for Shreveport, LA. on December 21st. It was a two hour practice in shorts and helmets as the Tigers get back into the swing of things.

Head coach Gary Pinkel said it was great to get back on the field, but it was also nice to heal up some nagging injuries and bumps and bruises after the Kansas game. “It’s always fun getting going again. We added some work with our veteran players on North Carolina,” said Pinkel.

Because of finals and a Dec. 26th game, the Tigers have one less practice than what they would normally have.
