A murder charge has been dismissed in Springfield after a witness was asked if the man she saw shoot another man was in the courtroom … and the witness said “no.” The prosecutor says he will not re-file the charge against Terry Morrison for now. He’ll wait for more details from a continuing investigation.
Morrison remains in custody because he’s on federal parole and is accused of having a gun — which people on parole are not allowed to have. He had been accused of killing a woman at a Springfield motel.
