LSU, Bama rematch–final BCS Standings

December 5, 2011 By Bill Pollock

For the first time in 14 years of the BCS, there will be a rematch to determine the National Champion.  For the sixth year in a row, an SEC is assured that championship.  Oklahoma State did everything they possibly could have on Saturday night against their in-state rival Sooners, but it was not enough to get the votes needed to push the Cowboys ahead of the Tide.
Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel voted LSU-Bama 1-2 and said whether or not people like it, the BCS got it right.  “The two best teams are playing.”
