It’s a little too early to tell if we’ll have a white Christmas in Missouri, but the Springfield National Weather Service says it certainly looks like a white Monday in the Ozarks.

Forecaster Doug Cramer says for the next day or so we’ll see rain across southwest Missouri, perhaps a half-inch to an inch.

By Sunday a cold front is going to start moving through and that change in temperatures will force snow showers to develop. Snow is expected to accumulate Monday through Monday night, and most areas will see 1 to 3 inches.

Cramer says snowfall amounts will be less toward areas like West Plains and Alton.
