Rams defensive end Chris Long did not practice on Thursday after he was unable to go after a limited practice on Wednesday due to a sore ankle. Long said he plans to play Sunday at San Francisco.
Head coach Steve Spagnuolo said Long was downgraded from limited to DNP for Thursday. “The ankle has been bothering him. He did a little bit yesterday, aggravated it, it didn’t get better. So we are looking for things to get better. We thought what we could do today is shut these guys down and see where we’re at tomorrow.”
