Missouri moves up, SLU moves into basketball polls

November 28, 2011 By Bill Pollock

After big wins against Notre Dame and #18 California at the CBE Classic in Kansas City and Sunday’s 88-59 win over Binghamton, the Misssouri Tigers basketball team moved up to #13 in the Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 Poll. The Tigers improved to 6-0 and made the biggest jump of any team ranked.

The Saint Louis Billikens debuted at #25 in the Coaches Poll and #23 in the AP, after an 11 point win over Boston College, a 12 point win over Villanova and a 20 point victory against Oklahoma. This is the first time since 1993-94 that SLU has appeared in the national rankings.
