For the third season in a row, Gary Pinkel’s Missouri Tigers have won the Border Showdown in football over the Kansas Jayhawks, who finish their season on a 10 game losing streak. Not only will the victory drum make the trip back to Columbia, but it is anyone’s guess just how long this drum will sit in the Mizzou trophy case. The Jayhawks have been saying that with Missouri leaving the Big 12, they don’t want to play Mizzou anymore.
After pounding KU in the second half, the players continued the pounding while sharing in the celebration with their fans.
