The Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Dylan Simmons was killed when he ran off the road a struck a tree near Sikeston. A passenger was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

In a one-car accident in Warrenton, 48-year-old Leonard Bass was killed. Authorities say his car ran off the road at a high rate of speed.
