Flags to fly at half staff Saturday for Wayne Co. soldier

November 25, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

All American flags at government buildings in Missouri will be flying at half-staff on Saturday to honor a soldier from Wayne County who was killed in Afghanistan.

Army specialist James Roland Burnett Junior died last week when his unit was attacked with an improvised explosive device in Kandahar province.

Flags will remain at half staff in Wayne County through December 2nd.

Burnett is being buried Saturday in Lowndes.
