KC pastor pleads guilty to second degree murder

November 9, 2011 By Brian Hauswirth

Former Independence Baptist pastor David Love is charged with the murder of the husband of his mistress, and has now pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

He has been sentenced to life in prison, but Love was originally charged and pleaded not guilty to first degree murder in the connection with the March 2010 shooting death of a member of his church, Randy Stone.

Stone’s wife Teresa awaits trial next April on charges conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
