The eighth ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies (19-1-0) learned Monday night they will be the three seed in the NCAA Division-II South Central Regional Tournament and will take on six seed Dallas Baptist University (14-5-1) Friday, November 11th in Edmond, Okla.

This marks the fifth NCAA Tournament appearance for Jennies’ soccer and the fourth time under head coach Lewis Theobald.  Central Missouri will look to avenge its sole loss of the season when it faces the Patriots Friday at a match time to be announced. The Jennies suffered a 1-0 setback to the Patriots back on September 8th. In the match, the Jennies outshot Dallas Baptist 20-6 but couldn’t find the net, falling on a Patriot free-kick in the 57th minute.

The match will be played at second-seed Central Oklahoma’s (15-3-0) Tom Thompson Field, located in Edmond, Okla., as the top-two seeds get to host the first three rounds of the Tournament.  The top-seed in the South Central Region is Abilene Christian (Texas) (18-1-1) and it will host the other portion of the regional, featuring four-seed St. Edward’s (Texas) (15-2-1) and five-seed Midwestern State (Texas) (13-5-2).

If the Jennies win Friday, they will play Sunday, November 13th against the host Central Oklahoma Broncos.
