Senator McCaskill is expanding her Veterans Customer Satisfaction Program to the Columbia area today at the Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital. There will be a ceremony at 11:20 am Saturday October 29.
This program has been enacted in St. Louis and Kansas City. It provides veterans with a voluntary and confidential opportunity to provide feedback on the care they are receiving at Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities
In a statement, McCaskill says the original St. Louis program was inspired, in part, by problems at the John Cochran Veterans Administration Medical Center. McCaskill says the expansion ensures that veterans do not have to wait for a crisis before they can express concerns with their medical care or the experiences they have at a veterans Medical Center.
