Rams hammered in Dallas

October 23, 2011 By Bill Pollock

DeMarco Murray, filling in for injured Cowboy starter Felix Jones, ran for a franchise-record 253 yards, including a 91-yard touchdown as the Dallas Cowboys beat the Rams 34-7. Its the second time in as many weeks that the Rams and Cardinals baseball team played in the same state.

The Rams (0-6) were without injured quarterback Sam Bradford who missed the game with a high ankle sprain. The NFL’s worst run defense didn’t get any better. Steven Jackson ran for 70 yards and a touchdown. Rams right tackle Jason Smith and backup defensive tackle Darell Scott left with head injuries.
