Chiefs pick apart Raiders for third win in a row

October 23, 2011 By Bill Pollock

Kendrick Lewis and Brandon Flowers took interceptions back for touchdowns as the Chiefs took advantage of rusty quarterbacks Kyle Boller and Carson Palmer to beat the Oakland Raiders 28-0 on Sunday.

Boller threw three interceptions in the first half, including Lewis’ 59 yard score on the first drive of the game. Then Palmer came on in the second half and threw three more interceptions, including one that Flowers returned 58 yards. That was the Chiefs final touchdown of the game.

Matt Cassel was 15 of 30 for 164 yards and two interceptions and Jackie Battle was the leading rusher gaining 76 yards on 16 carries.
