Cadaver dogs find ‘hit’ at Kansas City-area home of baby missing since October 4

October 22, 2011 By Mike Lear

Documents related to the search of the Kansas City-area home where baby Lisa Irwin went missing 3 weeks ago say a cadaver dog indicated a “hit” for the scent of a deceased human in the home, during the search on Monday.

The documents say that was one reason authorities sought and obtained a search warrant from a judge, and served it on Wednesday. Lisa Irwin has been missing since October 4, when her parents reported someone had taken her from her crib.
