MU Curators to decide to move to SEC tonight?

October 19, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

Leaders at the University of Missouri will meet in a closed-door meeting in Kansas City tonight.

Everyone wants to know — will they decide Mizzou is leaving the Big 12?

The New York Times reported the university’s move to the SEC was imminent, quoting an unknown official, but curators have been tight-lipped about what will be discussed at tonight’s meeting.

Last month, the school voted to allow Chancellor Brady Deaton to explore other conferences, which has resulted in speculation that a decision seems likely tonight.
