Fiber-to-home broadband project begins in Millersburg

Groundbreaking today will begin a fiber-to-home broadband project in Central Missouri’s Millersburg.

Socket Telecom, a MoBroadbandNow partner with the state, will bring broadband to homes, businesses, schools and other institutions in eastern Boone and western Callaway counties.

The project is part of Governor Nixon’s initiative that began in 2009 … a $3 million endeavor that uses federal, state, local and private money.
