Day 15 of the search for Baby Lisa, brings more New Yorkers to Kansas City.
A New York criminal defense attorney has been hired to represent the family of Lisa Irwin, the infant reported missing two weeks ago. Joe Tacopina says that the parents had nothing to do with the baby’s disappearance and have nothing to hide.
KC Police indicates the parents’ level of cooperation is not what it needs to be. Tacopina contends its difficult for the family to be cooperative when the police have told them they’re suspects.
So who is Joe Tacopina? Depends who you ask. The New York Times says he is to defense lawyers what Donald Trump is to Real Estate. The New York Post calls him “ the devil’s advocate” and “perhaps the most-hated lawyer in New York”. His past clients include Michael Jackson and Jordan Van Der Sloot, the Dutch man suspected in the 2008 disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba.
