A Republic woman admits she stole almost $720,000 from the St. John’s Mercy Health Care Systems and its College of Nursing. Amy Phillips has pleaded guilty to theft and tax charges. She was the adminsitrative assistant for the nursing school.
Phillips has agreed to repay St. Johns the money she stole and will pay $115,000 in back taxes and interest.
