Commander Premier Aircraft one step closer to eviction in Cape

October 12, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

The way appears to be clear now for the city of Cape Girardeau to evict Commander Premier Aircraft Corporation from a hangar at the city airport. Commander has failed to post a $140,000 bond ordered by a judge last week. The city has been trying to get the company out of the hangar for months. Commander hasn’t paid its rent for almost four years and owes the city $827,000 dollars.

The company declared bankruptcy early this year. It owes creditors more than $3 million.
