Highway 59 in Buchanan County reopens to traffic

September 29, 2011 By Mike Lear

Highway 59 in Buchanan County has reopened to traffic after water from the Missouri River receded off of it. Transportation Department Crews cleared the roadway and traffic is again flowing on a section of road that had been closed since June 27.

Just over 3 miles of the roadway was repaired earlier this month but water remained over several sections of the road.
