The Missouri Tigers jumped out to an early 14-3 first-quarter lead, scoring on their first two offensive possession, but the Sooners took over scoring 28 straight points on their way to a 38-28 win in the first conference game of the season for both teams.

Landry Jones threw for 448 yards and three touchdowns to Ryan Broyles, after getting off to a slow start that included a three and out to start the game and a interception in the first quarter.

James Franklin started by hitting his first five passes of the game, including a 45 yard touchdown to LaDamian Washington up the middle of the field to give the Tigers their second TD of the game. Then Oklahoma adjusted and Franklin went his next eight without a completion. He finished with 291 yards on 16 of 32 passing with no turnovers, while rushing for 95 more yards.

Henry Josey rushed for 133 and scored in the second half on a 48 yard dash down the left sideline.
