DNA has linked a Kansas City man to a 1990 robbery and sexual assault. 49 year-old Hosie Parison has been charged with one count of first degree robbery. The statute of limitations prevents the filing of sexual assault charges.

A woman and her then-13 year-old daughter were asleep in their Kansas City home in July of 1990 when three men broke in. The mother was punched and raped, her daughter was assaulted and the assailants left with a safe, televisions and jewelry.

Prosecutors say evidence from the crime scene was matched to Parison earlier this year.
