Suspected shooter in MU football fan shooting gets 45 years

The man suspected of shooting an MU football fan last year in Columbia has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Daron Peal was identified by authorities as the man who shot 22 year-old Aaron Hobson of Wichita, Kansas outside a Columbia convenience store in October. Peal was sentenced for 2nd degree murder and armed criminal action after pleading guilty in July.

Two other people have pleaded guilty to lesser charges and five more await trail.
